Description: Learn the legal framework to ensure that multilingual learners with disabilities have access to appropriate supports and services in school. This presentation will cover the legal rights of multilingual learners, best practices for special education evaluations for multilingual learners, provision of services, and meeting parent participation requirements.
Pennsylvania's Refugee Education Programs, brought to you by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in collaboration with the Center for Schools and Communities, are working together to empower educators and organizational leaders to create belonging and promote school success and community support for refugee students and their families.
